Ever since Frances and I met Tom some sixty plus years ago, he has been a pivotal partof our life.

When we look back, it was Tom and Sheila who introduced us to many of many of the wonderful friends that we have, and many of the activities and sports. Tom had the patience to teach us squash skiing golf and yacht racing. 
Both he and Sheila were wonderful with our children and later our grandchildren.

They all loved Tommy P, and all spent many happy hours on holiday together.

Tom was fiercely competitive and although he wanted to teach us all, he was not going to let you win.

We could go on forever but here is a list of all the attributes that we are sure that we will all recognise in Tom.

Brave and strong through years of ill health without ever complaining.

An honest and true friend

Mischievous, think New Year’s day games and open house.

He loved good food and Wine

He loved all his family and friends with a passion, and lived his life to the full.

We are sure that all those family and friends will have their own special memories of times spent with Tom.

We will miss you terribly.
